D’Italia Programs is a Northern New Jersey-based, non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Italian and Italian-American heritage and culture. Our mission is to enrich the community by researching, preserving, and showcasing the  Italian American culture through diverse artistic and educational programs. For nearly a century, we have shared traditions, fostering intergenerational understanding and community engagement.

Our organization is comprised of four elements:

Coro d’Italia (est. 1932) This choral and dance ensemble, originally established in New York City, celebrates the rich folk traditions of Italy through costumes, choreography, and music. Performances also highlight the contributions of Italian Americans to the cultural landscape.

Bambini d’Italia (est. 1997) Designed for children, this program utilizes interactive workshops to introduce young people to Italian culture through engaging activities encompassing dance, music, an introduction to the Italian language, art, and games.

Eventi Speciali (est. 2000) We curate and host cultural events, including festive celebrations, heritage festivals, workshops, lectures, and seasonal traditions, providing enriching experiences for participants of all ages and backgrounds.

D’Italia! Traveling Ensemble (est. 2000) This energetic touring group shares the beauty of Italian music and dance through fun filled performances at schools, community centers, parades, and special events across the tri-state area.

While rooted in Northern New Jersey, our commitment extends beyond geographical boundaries. We actively seek opportunities to share the richness of Italian culture with diverse audiences throughout the region and beyond!
